Homestead Alternatives is the CBD brand offered by Laura's Mercantile of Winchester, KY. But before there was a Laura's or Homestead Alternatives, Laura Freeman was a successful cattle rancher, raising Laura's Lean Beef at her Mt. Folly Farm.

Then things changed. Following a horseback riding accident some years ago, Laura sold her beef operation and retired. At the same time she started experimenting with hemp CBD to help with her pain
